Each year at the International Industrial Organization Conference, the IOS presents several awards in recognition of research papers that demonstrate excellence in the field of Industrial Organization.

IOS Distinguished Fellow Award
This award is given annually in recognition of excellence in Research, Education, and Leadership in the field of Industrial Organization.
IOS Distinguished Service Award
This award is given annually in recognition of Professional Leadership in the scholarship and practice of Industrial Organization.
Robert F. Lanzillotti Prize
The Robert F. Lanzillotti Prize is for the best paper in antitrust economics accepted for presentation at the International Industrial Organization Conference is awarded annually.
The Public Utility Research Center Prize
The annual award, sponsored by the University of Florida’s Public Utility Research Center, is for the best paper in regulatory economics accepted for presentation at the International Industrial Organization Conference.
Rising Star Paper Prize
This award, sponsored by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, is for best paper by a graduate student presented in a Rising Star sessions and is presented at the annual International Industrial Organization Conference.
Best Paper by a Junior Author Award
This award is for outstanding research by a younger scholar, as published in the Review of Industrial Organization during the previous year and presented at the annual International Industrial Organization Conference.
